HGV 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver - Part Time
Do you hold a minimum of a 7.5t (C1) Licence and looking for a permanent part-time opportunity
Based in Southwest London, our client is a large format porcelain slab supplier to the UK market. They have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join their team and deliver their products UK wide.
The key responsibilities of a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver include, but are not limited to:
- Digital Tacho experience is essential and expert understanding of driver hours regulations and safety procedures.
- Some basic stock control and warehouse duties.
- Safe strapping of materials to a-frames.
- Safe handling / loading and unloading.
- Overnight stays (hotel provided) as needed.
This is a part-time role, 3 days per week – flexibility with days (our client would prefer you to work exclusively for them).
The key skills and qualities of a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Hold a minimum of a 7.5t (C1) Licence.
- In-date Driver CPC (required).
- Digital Tacograph Card.
- Good standard of English and customer service.
- Good level of fitness.
- Experience of slab loading and unloading procedure – advantageous.
