Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker who has a solid background in fabrication with experience using Guillotines, Cold Saws and Sheet Metal Rollers is required for a well-established and fast-growing manufacturing company based in Congleton, Cheshire, North West England.
SALARY: £27,000 - £33,280 per annum (£13 - £16 per Hour) (depending on experience) + Overtime Paid at Time and a Half + 4 Weeks Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays, Free Parking on Site, Company Pension Scheme
LOCATION: Congleton, Cheshire, North West England (You must live within a daily commutable distance to Congleton)

Due to the company expanding their team, we have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Fabricator / Sheet Metal Workerwho has a solid background in fabrication with experience using Guillotines, Cold Saws and Sheet Metal Rollers.
The company have a substantial client base, both locally, nationally, and internationally with several high-profile key customers predominantly in the automotive industry with expansion underway into other sectors.
Working as a Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker you will manufacture components from sheet metal with good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication working techniques.
As the Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker you will need the ability to fabricate from engineering drawings and be able to work on your own initiative.

DUTIES
Working in an environment of continuous improvement as a Fabricator / Sheet Metal Worker your responsibilities will include:
- Successfully achieve the daily planned production schedule
- Maintain and strive to improve production quality
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the workshop
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal components to exacting standards
- Operate a variety of machinery including Guillotines, Cold Saws and Sheet Metal Rollers
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets stringent quality standards
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and improve fabrication processes
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- A background in fabrication, experience with a Guillotine, Cold Saw and Sheet Metal Rollers and have good general engineering skills
- Knowledge of MIG / TIG welding would be advantageous
- Good understanding and knowledge of fabrication and sheet metal working techniques and tools
- Ability to fabricate and work from engineering drawings (or occasionally without proper drawings!)
- Experience of manufacturing components from sheet metal
- Ability to work under own initiative and with minimal supervision to achieve tight deadlines and high quality
- Be self- motivated, hardworking and able to work well with others as part of a team
- Be reliable, flexible and punctual
