Job Title: Credit Executive
Role Type: Hybrid 2 days on site
Work Location: Belfast, UK
Context/Scope:
- Role sits within the Sell to Cash team, reporting through the Island of Ireland (IOI) Credit Manager. The role supports all channels in ROI and NI.
- Credit team strives to provide world class credit & debt management and are key part in our trading relationship with our customers in IOI.
Top 3-5 Accountabilities
Own end to end account management of mid or high risk customers in accordance with the credit policy. This includes:
- and set credit terms and credit limits for each customer
- review data integrity and payment performance, correcting if required
- necessary recommend risk categorisation and credit options
Responsible for minimising the risk of debt by:
- follow up of failed or missed payments on a daily basis
- repayment plans with customer if overdue debt arises, and subsequent review of payments
- course corrective action when needed
- and pro-active manage risk based watch lists
- with customers with overdue debt, rapid follow up to ensure maximum monies recovered
- with all legislative and policy requirements, where appropriate drive simplification to processes.
- response regarding queries received from commercial and customers via incoming calls/emails.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Qualifications
- Certificate or 5 GCSE grade A-C including Maths and English
- post leaving qualification in a business related or Credit Discipline would be advantageous.
Experience
- ability to deliver under time pressure is particularly important.
- Credit Control experience with high volume of customers
- ability to deliver consistent high-quality results in a target driven environment.
- assertive in all situations.
- literacy is necessary - knowledge of Sap/Salesforce (or equivalent) and intermediate Excel/Word are essential
