We are seeking an Asset Manager to join our housing team within the local authority in Kirklees. The ideal candidate will be highly focused on data and systems management to meticulously track and manage our budget. This role is integral to ensuring the effective oversight of our housing assets.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the management of housing assets, ensuring a strategic approach to long-term asset management.
  • Utilise data and systems to monitor, track, and report on budget allocations and expenditures.
  • Develop and implement asset management plans and policies.
  • Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making and improve asset performance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the integration of asset management with other key functions.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in asset management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably within the housing sector.

  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficient in the use of asset management software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
