Finance Analyst

This is a key role responsible for financial reporting, analysis and partnering across two departments with their associated spend to drive increased performance. You will use your blend of financial acumen and analytical mindset to add value in what is a pivot role within this high performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Management Accounts
- Analyse marketing spend, utilising business knowledge and technical understanding to review performance vs Budget/Forecast and current trends.
- Produce periodic reconciliation of accounts ensuring integrity is maintained throughout, adhering to financial controls and following up on discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Interrogate and analyse large data sets, interpret and communicate concisely to management within IS/marketing and Finance functions.
- Manage creation and implementation of promotional pricing for central campaigns; maintaining market competitiveness and maximise financial returns.
- Manage pricing vs key competitors to ensure competitive market position, proposing required amendments supported by financial modelling.
- Review and reconcile existing pricing to ensure consistency and accuracy across product hierarchies and across territories.
To be successful in this role you will be a part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA) who is keen on progressing towards qualification with the support of the business. You have a strong communication style to allow you to build relationships internally across a range of departments with stakeholders of varying levels. You will have strong reporting and systems background, strong on Excel and can present your numbers and findings to finance and non -finance.
