We are working with a rapidly growing company in Great Yarmouth seeking a skilled and driven Production Engineer to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise within a thriving, forward-thinking manufacturing environment.
The Role:
As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Completing complex electrical wiring and interpreting electronics schematic diagrams.
- Assembling systems, sub-components, and panel wiring with precision.
- Using electronics testing equipment.
- Assembling and inspecting pressure vessel seals and connectors.
- Generating technical reports and contributing to build and test improvements.
- Testing, fault finding, and repairing modules and complex printed circuit boards down to component level.
- Working safely with equipment that may involve potentially lethal voltages.
What We're Looking For:
- A qualified engineer with a background in a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role is essential.
- Strong understanding of complex electrical wiring and electronics schematics.
- Competent in the use of electronics testing equipment.
- Proven ability to test, fault find, and repair at a detailed level.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to make confident, objective decisions.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
