HR Administrator

Job Description:

Our esteemed client, located on the outskirts of Swindon, is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join their team. As a leading employer in the area, they are looking for a motivated individual to support the HR Advisor and contribute to the smooth running of HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the HR Advisor, providing assistance as needed.
  • Ensure HR policies are kept current in line with new employment legislation.
  • Manage the online staff database (Cascade), including onboarding new employees, updating terms and conditions, managing absences, holidays, probation periods, KPIs, and leaves. Generate regular reports from the system.
  • Regularly report on staffing levels, absences, vacancies, and attrition rates.
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Revise company policies
  • Post Job adverts
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Manage HR Inbox together with sensitive and confidential data and files.
  • Work with hiring manager, create and post job advertisements onto Indeed and where appropriate, liaise with recruitment agencies/negotiate favourable rates.
  • Interact with and provide information to employees, department heads etc when requested.
  • Participate in HR projects

Skills and Experience Required:

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification and previous experience in HR administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Administrative experience
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent multitasking skills.
  • Empathetic and approachable, with strong interpersonal skills.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday/ Full Time
  • 9am- 5.30pm 1 hour for lunch

Salary:

  • Up to £28,000
