The role:
- Supporting students who struggle with Mental Health
- Supporting learning difficulties
- 1:1 support or small group settings
- Assisting the class teacher with various classroom duties
- Helping with lesson prep and tidying away after lessons
- Facilitating an engaging and fun but safe learning environment
The successful Mental Health Assistant:
- Must have experience working with students with SEN or mental health needs to be considered for the role.
- Passionate about making a difference
- Understand the importance of safeguarding
- Confident, resilient and able to adapt to a fast paced environment
