The Ideal Candidate

  • ARLA Property mark qualifications
  • Industry experience within the lettings sector
  • Confident on the phone
  • Focus on customer service
  • Good knowledge of Word and Excel
  • A willingness to tackle projects and get things done
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong organisation, planning and admin skills

The Role

Working in this full-time position, you will be reporting into the Head of Lettings, and you will be working across a portfolio of properties liaising closely with both landlords and tenants.

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be dealing with viewing enquiries, negotiate rental agreements with landlords and tenants, process rental applications, answer calls and emails, providing excellent customer service to tenants, landlord and other clients. You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lettings, perform various administrative tasks, guide landlords through the lettings process, ensure property details are up to date and undertake prompt marketing of available properties. Most importantly, you will work closely with other team members to maintain their seamless lettings process.

Alongside your main duties, a key aspect of your role will be to foster company growth. This will involve identifying business opportunities within the existing portfolio of clients, converting let only clients to fully managed ones and engaging with potential clients already aware of their client services. Your ability to identify leads and build strong relationships will be key to the continued success and expansion of the department.
