We are looking for a dedicated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team and help us continue delivering excellent service to our clients in Kent.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to undertake small works and maintenance tasks for fire alarms and aspirating detection systems across Kent. This role involves no callout duties, ensuring a consistent and predictable work schedule. Work will be in Kent and Kent only!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and Maintenance:

  • Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems and aspirating detection systems in various commercial and residential properties.

  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure systems are functioning correctly and comply with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Perform small works including system upgrades and modifications as required.

  • Troubleshooting and Repairs:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and malfunctions promptly.

  • Repair and replace faulty components to restore full system functionality.

  • Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and health and safety regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records of all installations, maintenance, and repairs.

  • Complete necessary documentation and reports for clients and management.

  • Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries and concerns professionally.

  • Offer expert advice on system enhancements and upgrades to improve fire safety.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, with expertise in fire alarm systems and aspirating detection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., BS 5839).
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing system faults.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid UK driving licence.
  • Must be able to pass DBS/Security checks
