Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 18:00 - 06:00, 06:00 - 18:00

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for Production Operative - Casual to join our passionate and driven team based at our client's site in Kitling Road, Prescott, Knowsley

Operate the Hopper/Stream feeder equipment presenting quality onserts to the process to ensure smooth output of onserted bundles during live production runs with minimum waste. Also manual insertion hand insert magazines / newspapers to suit the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to relevant Health & Safety Requirements
  • Complete pre-run checks, ensuring the area is clear and tidy
  • Load On-sets into Hopper/Stream Feeder using correct manual handling techniques.
  • Monitor bundle presentation when delivered to Inserting Line.
  • Collect and re-bundle overflow copy and re-introduce to line in correct format.
  • Clear jams and minor faults and ensure all waste is disposed of correctly.
  • Hand insert Magazines / newspaper to suit the needs of the business
