Equal Education Partners are recruiting for a Full-Time Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start on 03/09/2024. The role is based in a Mainstream Primary school where you will be working in their unit. The school itself, based in Carmarthen, has been renowned for its facilities and teaching support towards pupils with Additional Learning Needs. The school are looking for someone to step into the role and hit the ground running by using their skills and knowledge to positively impact the classroom.
The role is confirmed on a long-term basis for 5 days a week, beginning on 3trd September 2024. Create and maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Support the class teacher with delivering planned sessions, as well as creating lesson material. Work as part of the wider team and support with general learning assistant duties in the classroom.
You must have at least 40 days of relevant experience in the last 2 years to be considered for this role, as well as being punctual, empathetic and dedicated to the role.
You will either have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo a check. Alongside a minimum rate of £80 per day, you will receive unwavering support from a specialist Education Consultant throughout your time spent working with Equal Education Partners.
