Our client-a major player in the private medical industry-is looking to hire a Healthcare Advisor to work within their back office team. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be providing guidance and recommendations to patients on their health issues, ordering prescriptions and arranging appointments with the Clinicians.
Main Responsibilities for the Healthcare Advisor:
- Handling a high volume of patient enquiries via phone
- Monitoring the clinic inbox and actioning patient requests accordingly
- Ordering prescriptions and expediting depending on urgency
- Providing medical advice (full training provided)
- Taking an empathetic and caring approach to each patient
- Coordinating with medical professionals and other operational teams
- Managing Consultants' diaries
Key Skills/Experience required for the Healthcare Advisor:
- Professional background in medical, dental or care industry
- Experience working in an office setting and responding to customer enquiries
- A kind compassionate nature and a motivation to help others
- Proficiency in computer systems
- A confident communicator
- MUST be a car driver due to rotational cover at other clinic in West Sussex
