Join an established and growing specialist sub contractor as an assistant estimator and take the opportunity to fine tune your estimating skills. Work on medium to large scale projects in a close knit team, receive hands on training and see a clear route of progressing into a senior role and higher.
Established over 30 years ago and a well known subcontractor to tier 1 contractors this company is continuing to expand and looking for an ambitious assistant estimator to join them. You'll see clear training, support and development opportunities, and be in the driving seat of your career to become a specialist in estimating.
The assistant estimators responsible will include:
- Supporting the estimator on varying size tenders, being proficient with excel and be involved with pricing tenders
- Attend client meetings and work closely with commercial members and construction directors allocated to projects
- All other general estimating duties
The successful assistant estimator will need:
- Knowledge of excel and some experience working in construction and estimating at a trainee or assistant level
- Understand pricing on tenders
- Able to commute to Elsenham area
