Our client is a PE backed, high growth business, based in Stratford-Upon-Avon, seeking a number two in Finance to join the Finance function.
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Crafting monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Analysing monthly forecasts, KPIs, and providing insightful commentary on variances
- Taking ownership of accounting entries and monthly control account reconciliations
- Managing and supporting the staff handling purchase and sales ledgers, tackling any overdue balances together
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns and overseeing the production of payroll, including PAYE and pension submissions
- Assisting in the creation of quarterly budgets and maintaining day-to-day financial processes to keep the department running smoothly
- Building strong inter-departmental relationships, ensuring the finance department operates effectively
The successful Finance Manager will have the following experience:
- Ideally hold an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or be nearly qualified
- Experienced in management accounts with the technical skills to match
- Someone who thrives under pressure and can meet monthly deadlines with a smile
- A problem solver with a positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively
- Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
As Finance Manager, you will be entitled to the following:
- £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
- Permanent Contract
