VNA Recruitment is delighted to represent a leading refrigeration engineering company in their search for a talented and dedicated Test Engineer. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional with a passion for innovation and excellence in the field of refrigeration technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive tests on refrigeration systems, components, and prototypes to ensure they meet the required specifications and performance standards
  • Data Analysis: Analyse test results to identify any discrepancies or areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports and present findings to the engineering team
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop and implement rigorous testing protocols and procedures
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to refrigeration systems, utilising a thorough understanding of refrigeration principles and mechanical systems
  • Compliance: Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to provide feedback and recommendations for product enhancements and process improvements
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing processes, results, and any corrective actions taken

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Test Engineer within the electrical industry (gas industry would be ideal aswell)
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles. Proficiency in using testing equipment and software
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and concisely
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently when required
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of testing and reporting
