Oracle Business Analyst

Excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join my client in the Education sector, to support with their ongoing Oracle Fusion implementation. Working as part of the newly established Oracle Support Team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for identifying business and user requirements, analysing current processes and recommending solutions to drive the continued efficiency and impact of this implementation.

Previous experience with Oracle of other large ERP implementations is highly desirable candidate experience for this role.

The Oracle Business Analyst will join my client in a newly created permanent opportunity following the recent implementation of Oracle Fusion. This is an exciting opportunity as the business goes through huge change, really embracing this new technology to drive efficiency and performance of the whole business.

Working within the newly formed Oracle Support Team you will use your previous experience from a Business Analyst perspective to proactively identify areas of improvement, working with business users and stakeholders across multiple divisions of the business to really understand current 'as is' state and what will be needed to deliver as well as achieve 'to be'.

There is huge opportunity in this role to progress your career within the Business Analyst arena, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the beneficial use of this new software to the business. The position offers great scope to work closely with the existing programme team, developing your own skill set and being exposed to different approaches to assess and validate proposed solutions.

Prior experience with an Oracle Fusion or other large finance ERP implementations will be advantageous in this role given the close exposure initially with the finance team, so an understanding of basic finance terminologies and requirements will be of benefit. In addition core requirements of this role will include:

  • Speaking with key users and senior stakeholders to ensure soltuion are a strong fit for user needs and robust to deliver expected outcomes
  • Identifying problem areas through root cause identification with a view to devising the most accurate resolution
  • Performing impact analysis, risk assessments and and cost benefit exercises when/where required
  • Conducting workshops with stakeholders and collaborate with Oracle Implementation partners to validate proposed solutions.

The role operates a hybrid working model with 3 days per week in their office (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) and is likely to progress quickly, so to hear more please apply.
