Our client offers top-tier acoustic consultancy services tailored to all stages of construction projects, aligning with RIBA guidelines. Their extensive list of services encompasses strategy reviews, appraisals of architectural drawings, design advice, noise assessments for planning, and UKAS-accredited sound insulation testing. They specialise in providing innovative solutions for various infrastructure projects, including rail and highway networks and tall structures.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Acoustics or a related field, along with the IOA Diploma
  • Accreditation in AMIOA/MIOA status
  • Previous experience in project planning and report preparation for project applications
  • Proficiency in addressing technical matters during assessments
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery while closely collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the development life cycle

Responsibilities:

  • Adapt project plans and designs to ensure adherence to client specifications and statutory guidance
  • Conduct regular noise and vibration inspections to ensure compliance with British standards and building regulations at all project stages
  • Provide clients with expert guidance and remedial advice to prevent technical issues that could impact project completion and timelines
