Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial record-keeping, payroll processing, and financial software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Process payroll on a regular basis and manage employee financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Comply with legal requirements by enforcing adherence, filing reports and advising management on needed actions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Solid understanding of account payable/receivable principles.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and related tax procedures.
  • AAT qualification or progress towards is desirable.
