Our client, a leading MarTech, are looking for an experienced Head of Software Engineering to oversee the development of their SaaS platform. The role involves managing a team working with Next.js, Laravel, MySQL, AWS, and includes DevOps and infrastructure management using Kubernetes and Terraform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a software engineering team.
- Oversee software development from planning to deployment.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software.
- Collaborate with product management, UX/UI design, and operations.
- Implement continuous improvement in engineering practices.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Manage containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a senior software engineering leadership role.
- Proficiency with Next.js, PHP, MySQL, and AWS.
- Experience with DevOps tools, including Kubernetes and Terraform.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
