Senior Marketing Executive

Our client based in Banbury provides a range of customised services, including warehousing, distribution, and sales and marketing, to support partnered manufacturers of medical and surgical products across the UK.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Executive to join their team during this period of unprecedented growth. Reporting to the General Manager the role will be responsible for implementing the brand strategy, maintaining brand integrity across all company marketing initiatives and communications, as well as managing a large portfolio of products.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the marketing of a diverse portfolio of medical and surgical products.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Public Relations: Manage and execute PR for the company and the product portfolio.
  • Campaign Management: Develop and execute traditional and digital marketing campaigns to drive business growth.
  • Events: Manage and participate in webinars and trade shows including management of stand layout and design, product display and POS and sales and marketing material.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of marketing content, including brochures, presentations, web content, and social media.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales tools and support materials.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Innovation: Identify new business opportunities and initiatives and stay ahead of new marketing initiatives and technologies

Previous Experience/Qualifications:

  • A Degree in Marketing or Business. Qualification in Digital Marketing an advantage.
  • Ideally 3 - 5 years experience in a similar role with an understanding of distribution models, sales territories, and product launches.
  • Previous Marketing experience from a Pharmaceutical or Medical background is preferred although not essential.
  • Advanced level knowledge of MS Office. Design experience a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools is a plus.

  • Please note this is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm with hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
