In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of redefining and running a service that meets the dynamic demands of the current climate. Your innovation, creativity, and collaborative spirit will be crucial as you work closely with our customers and partners.
With us, you can enjoy a dynamic work environment with on-site collaboration in vibrant Bristol, averaging four days a week, some flex available dependent on client demands. Additionally, you'll have the exciting opportunity to travel to various client sites across the UK, growing your professional network and gaining diverse experiences.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct detailed analyses and quality checks of Configuration Management Databases (CMDB).
  • Evaluate and enhance the existing configuration management process.
  • Develop and secure approval for a comprehensive configuration management process.
  • Define service acceptance criteria in collaboration with the Acceptance into Service Manager.
  • upport testing and wider Service Management discovery activities.
  • Effectively managing the lifecycle of supported CIs within the CMDB and providing up-to-date information on the status of CIs.
  • Identifying, escalating, and tracking Configuration Management issues.
  • Proactively managing and auditing all CI attributes and relationships.

What you will bring:

  • Established Service Asset and Configuration Management experience, with up-to-date knowledge of current CMDB tools.
  • Professional Configuration Management qualifications and Service Management qualifications such as ITIL v3.

It would be great if you had:

  • Defence sector experience.
