Location: High Wycombe, UK
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to manage key financial functions and support our clients with their accounting needs. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, with a focus on end-of-year tax returns and client management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file end-of-year tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing tailored financial advice and support.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and audits.
• Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve any accounting issues.
• Stay updated with the latest accounting standards and practices.

Requirements:

• AAT membership or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven experience in handling end-of-year tax returns.
• Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.
