Description
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including recording, classifying, and summarising financial transactions.
- Review and reconcile financial statements and ledgers.
- Monthly CIS returns
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Data entry up to accounts preparation and completion
- Completion and calculations of self assessments
- Corporation Tax returns
- Ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare various financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.
- Work closely with other team members in the accounting and finance department.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Support auditing activities when necessary.
- Undertake administrative tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- A strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
- A qualification in AAT/ICB
