We are now looking for a Traffic Clerk join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our Panettoni Park site (NN7 4DE). You will work rotating shifts, Monday to Friday 05:00 -13:00 / 13:00 - 21:00.

The Role
As a Traffic Clerk, you will action the daily transport delivery and collection plan, ensuring transport operations meet service levels.
Communicating any issues to the relevant contacts, you will answer incoming telephone calls from drivers into the Transport Office, following the Stop Call Wait procedure.
You will reconcile any queries or problems relating to drivers or deliveries in a timely manner and proactively identify potential delivery problems before they occur.
Conducting live debriefs for drivers, you will provide advice in alignment with the rules relating to Drivers' Hours Legislation, raising any potential deviations to the Line Manager.
Additionally, you will:
- Reconcile any "refused" delivery telephone calls from drivers
- Ensure 5S compliance (Sort, Straighten, Sanitise, Standardise, Sustain)
- Communicate any delays or failures to Contract Management
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
About You
To be considered as a Traffic Clerk, you will need:
- The ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
