NEW OPPORTUNITY - Civil Engineering Manager - £90,000 DOE - Scotland (Hybrid)
Piper Maddox is working with one of the most exciting renewable energy companies in the UK, boasting a project pipeline of over 2GW consisting of Wind, Solar and BESS.
You would be coming in as a Civil Engineering Manager and take a lead technical authority role on all civil engineering matters across their extensive UK portfolio. This position would be great for someone who enjoys taking the initiative on projects while drawing on an existing expert team within the company.
Due to their financial backing, my client has a strong project pipeline dating back to 2030.
Another big selling point of this company is their mission to not only provide more clean energy across the UK, but ensure each project fosters local economic growth and increases biodiversity.
Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for civil engineering designs including transport routes, wind turbine foundation design, peat and floating road designs.
- Leading procurement and management activities for external consultants where necessary.
- Site inspections and project reports. Providing recommendations on civil matters to the board.
- Oversee renewable energy projects (WIND, SOLAR and BESS)
Skills:
- Chartership would be ideal
- Experience with all phases of the project life cycle.
