Our client, a dynamic organisation based in Margate, is currently seeking an Administrator to join their team. Job Title: Order Administrator

Location: Margate

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 DOE

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm with ½ hour lunch, Friday 8am - 12pm

Annual leave: 25 days + 8 Bank holidays

Your key responsibilities as an Order Administrator would be to:

  • Keep customers updated throughout the resolution process of any issues raised
  • Process customer orders using their in house system
  • Participate in cross-training to ensure seamless customer service during colleague absences
  • Respond to customer queries via email and phone in a timely and efficient manner
  • Update pricing details on product records
  • Provide effective administration support to internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate with Sales representatives and other departments to communicate new orders
  • Update and maintain the sales order book
  • Manage and handle incoming calls
  • Update customer records
  • Process sales orders and ensure timely despatch
  • Handle emails and general inquiries through the website
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication related to orders
  • Update and maintain various company databases
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth business operations

Requirements:

  • Polite manner and excellent telephone support skills when dealing with customers
  • Previous sales administration experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong desire to provide exceptional customer service
