We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Administrator to work for an Engineering Consultancy out of their offices in Warwick, within walking distance to the train station and bus links. This Administrator position is a part time permanent role working approx. 14 hours per week (split across 3 or 4 days) on a rate of £13.25 per hour (£9,646 per annum).

As Administrator, you will join a small yet very friendly team of 2 Structural Engineers, and support remotely across 2 other offices (Derby HQ and Leicester). As Administrator, you will support the Engineers in taking project details, fielding enquiries and typing up reports. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Management of the administration activities of the office including covering the telephones, typing, scanning, photocopying etc
  • Oversight of office inventory, including ensuring an adequate supply of consumables, such as stationery, printer ink and first aid box
  • Managing office correspondence and communication
  • Fielding enquiries for the Structural Engineers
  • Assist with the production of project reports etc.
  • Record and follow up actions from internal meetings
  • Gather information for sales invoicing
  • Update company records including holiday charts and sickness
  • Schedule meetings and appointments

We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as an Administrator or similiar
  • Good IT skills in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Excellent written communication skills with a good level of numeracy
  • Highly organised
