In this role, you will support a student with challenging behaviour, ensuring they have a safe and enriching educational experience. This is a full-time position, starting ASAP, and requires a Team Teach Level 1 or Level 2 trained professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a student with challenging behaviour, working to foster a supportive and structured learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to implement tailored behaviour management strategies and individual learning plans.
- Utilize effective behaviour management techniques to promote positive engagement and interaction.
Experience Required:
- Team Teach Level 1 or Level 2 training (essential)
- Experience supporting students with special needs, particularly in managing challenging behaviour.
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and a strong understanding of children's social and emotional development.
- Reliable, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with special educational needs.
