We are seeking an Admin Officer for a housing association, offering a hybrid working model with initial training in Pitsea, Essex, followed by a flexible schedule that includes 2 days per week in a Peabody office and the remainder at home. This role is customer-facing and supports the delivery of property services, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Serve as a customer-facing member of the team, supporting customers and operational teams in the delivery of property services.
  • Ensure the provision of excellent customer service and experience to all stakeholders to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Advise and support customers in resolving their queries and issues, ensuring that their expectations are managed and proactive resolutions are identified.
  • Provide relevant support to various teams within the service, including scheduling appointments.
  • Deal with routine enquiries from external agencies, internal customers, and stakeholders professionally within pre-agreed departmental and company timeframes.
  • Support the Customer Experience Team in the investigation, management, and response to complaints from customers.
  • Manage enquiries and requests for service via telephone, computer, and all other means of communication from internal and external customers.
  • Support the teams with preparing project programmes using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel to track projects from inception to the end of the Defects Liability period, including management of the supply chain and programme to ensure continuous workflow.
  • Ensure customers are regularly and clearly communicated with, kept up to date on progress, and their expectations managed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to resolve queries and issues effectively.
  • Professional communication skills for dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in a similar administrative or customer service role is preferred.
