Divisional Manager - Social Housing (Planned Maintenance) London £80K - £100K + Benefits + Bonus

We are working with a leading national contractor operating within the property services market to recruit a Divisional Manager to join their highly successful team in London.

The Divisional Manager will oversee teams delivering planned maintenance programs including kitchen and bathroom refurbs, passive fire, decarbonisation/retrofit, electrical, legal disrepair and voids contracts for housing associations, ALMOs, and local councils.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of your business region, commercial and contractual performance, and client satisfaction.

We seek a qualified and competent Divisional Manager with solid experience working on social housing / planned maintenance contracts. You will be an effective leader with the ability to develop a highly talented and motivated team, whilst building strong relationships with internal business functions, stakeholders, customers, consultants, and the wider supply chain.

Divisional Manager Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and lead a management team delivering reactive maintenance contracts ensuring delivery teams and contractors achieve high quality, value for money service.
  • Ensure delivery teams are compliant and works are delivered on time, within budget, and meet agreed key performance indicator targets.
  • Ensure the delivery team effectively delivers work through a comprehensive quality assurance system including contract administration and proactive budget monitoring
  • Business technical lead including consulting with business development and bids teams, client competitive dialogue, and bid presentations
  • Talent retention & development through leadership & advocacy of staff engagement programmes

Divisional Manager Experience:

  • Understanding of strategic and operational processes within social housing property services contracts
  • Experience in working at a strategic level, developing and implementing continuous improvement
  • Ability to set and measure targets
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong management skills and the ability to motivate a team at all levels
  • Ability to be innovative and creative to resolve complex issues
