Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a prominent environmental consultancy specialising in a wide array of environmental services aimed at improving indoor and outdoor environmental quality. Their services specialise in BS8233 and BS4142 noise reports, damp and timber surveys, and property inspection reports. Their Acoustic services include noise assessments, noise modelling, and noise surveys. They are looking for a Principal Acoustic Consultant to join their team, with the option of hybrid work available!
The Role:
My client is looking for a highly experienced Principal Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic team, near Harlow. The role is critical in assessing and mitigating noise issues on a wide variety of acoustic projects. As a Principal Acoustic Consultant, you will contribute to the growth and development of the business.
Role responsibilities include:
- Managing exciting projects and advising clients on developments.
- Understanding and applying relevant UK noise policy, regulations, and standards.
- Processing data, report writing and technical review work.
- Developing client relationships.
- Liaising with clients, local authority officers and stakeholders.
Ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Acoustic Consultant, specifically technical report writing.
- Membership to the International Institute of Acoustics (MIOA).
- A degree in a relevant field (Acoustics / Physics / Mechanical Engineering, with relevant modules).
- Excellent time management skills.
- A thorough understanding of British Standards and competence in attending site.
