Assistant Site Manager – Exeter
An exciting position as an Assistant Site Manager is now available with an award-winning main contractor on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to be involved in a diverse range of projects, from regeneration and historic buildings to restoration works and new build high rise accommodation. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the project team to support with project requirements including administration
- Assist the site team in the management of all direct labour
- Support with procurement and ordering of materials
- Ensuring work is carried out in compliance with company safety policies as well as HSE Regulations
- Arrange/attend meetings on site with the sub-contractors
- Manage external packages and trades
- Maintain the highest standard of site presentation at all times
- Deliver quality inductions to all sub-contractors
- Ensure that all materials are checked for damage and that they meet the required quality standards
Requirements:
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid at Work desirable
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- UK driving licence
- Construction related qualification desirable
- Relevant UK driving licence
