LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support in their mixed Reception/Year 1/Year 2 class of 18 pupils. The class has full time teacher, excellent behaviour and friendly staff,
There are only 62 pupils in the whole school, and supply TAs who have been there before have loved the school ethos and have stayed as long as possible,
This new TA2 role is a full time position covering 5 days per week, Monday-Friday from 08:45-15:30.
The sucessful candidate will be required to start in Sep 2024 and work until the Christmas Holidays with potential to extend into 2025 for the right candidate
The candidate must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and experience of working as a TA in a education setting.
Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:
- Monitoring targets for future progress
- Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers
- Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils
- Monitoring pupils progress in reference to the school's practice
- Excellent behaviour management skills
