Office Manager - Part Time

An exciting opportunity to join our team based in Oxford as an office Manager.

Role Overview :

Managing the Office Administration to provide a first class service to all staff and visitors both internally and externally to ensure the office runs smoothly. This role will also require a high level of organisational ability to arrange events both internally and externally. It is a fast pace environment which the right candidate will thrive in with varied tasks on a daily basis. This role is part-time (22.5 hours a week)

Team Overview : Savills Oxford is a multi-discipline office with various teams covering all aspects of property including Planning and Development, Leisure and Rural. The team of 115 offering a full range of services to both the public and the private sector.

Key responsibilities :

Health & Safety and Compliance :

Focusing on facilities management tasks with some of day to day responsibilities as the following :

  • Liaising with decorators at the best rates (APR Approved)
  • Office Administration
  • Handling office IT and Photocopiers
  • Ensuring the office is kept tidy
  • Relationship with EPAM

Staff and Ad Hoc Responsibilities :

A core focus on overseeing reception staff and managing and carrying out staff inductions.

  • Admin Meetings
  • Reception Management
  • Admin recruitment (full recruitment cycle)
  • Sickness Log & holiday reports etc.
  • organising quarterly head of department meetings with minute taking and action points as well as following on this thoroughly.

Marketing :

Working with the marketing team in providing support with the teams daily marketing responsibilities to the Oxford Office.Key Skills :

  • Excellent attention to detail in order to present work to a high standard
  • Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
  • Good people skills in relation to client contact / telephone manner
  • Work using own initiative and able to demonstrate problem solving ability
  • Good written English skills – spelling and grammar
  • Excellent IT skills – CRM system, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new IT systems
