Role: Marine Engineer / Technical Engineer
Contracting Authority: Public Sector
Contract Length: 194 working days - Jan 2025 start
Location: Portsmouth with some travel to other sites
IR35: Inside IR35
Pay Rate: Up to £400 per day via Umbrella
Clearance: Active SC Clearance preferred but will consider candidates with lapsed clearance
Minimum Requirement:
- Active SC Clearance preferred but will consider candidates with lapsed clearance
- STCW Engineering OOW or Deck OOW to STCW lll/2 or higher or equivalent i.e. HND Marine Engineering.
- Up to date STCW Safety Certification or equivalent
- Have relevant maritime background and experience
- Experience with setting up detailed requirements for work packages
- Experience in financial control of suppliers
- Experience working with partners and stakeholders in the marine ship repair and maintenance industry
