Job Description:
Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for advocating for children's rights and ensuring their well-being?
In this role, you will be responsible for chairing reviews, monitoring care plans, and ensuring that the voices of children and young people are heard and acted upon.
Responsibilities:
- Chairing review meetings for children in care, ensuring that their care plans are appropriate and meet their needs.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of care plans, making sure they comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Advocating for the rights and best interests of children and young people, ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
- Collaborating with social workers, carers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of reviews, interventions, and outcomes in line with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work role, with significant experience in working with children in care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with children, families, and professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
