JOB- Process Engineer
LOCATION – Dunfermline
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £
30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
We are looking for a Process Engineer on a permanent basis in the Dunfermline. With experience in the experience in the engineering / manufacturing industry.
As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting product development and production by providing process feasibility assessments, optimization insights, and tooling designs/estimates. You will collaborate closely with Product Design Engineers and Production teams to ensure smooth operations and effective process implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design project-specific tooling and test fixtures as needed.
- Prepare tooling estimates for quotations in collaboration with Product Design Engineers.
- Assist Product Engineers in preparing labor estimates for quotations.
- Assess feasibility and draft production procedures for new products.
- Design testing equipment tailored to project requirements.
- Lead process optimization efforts and contribute to product improvements.
Production-Related:
- Oversee the design, selection, commissioning, and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- Provide technical support to Production Operators and Inspectors.
- Collaborate with external suppliers for tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with administrative staff for the procurement of tools and equipment.
- Support production transfer activities within the organization.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and assessments.
