Sales Administrator

We are recruiting a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Administrator.

Working with the market leaders, this privately owned company boasts over 30 years success in their sector. The primary responsibility of this role will be to liaise with fright and shipping companies, as well as being key to ensuring times frames are met for the internal teams.

Key Responsibilities for a Sales Administrator:

  • Processing high volume orders
  • Respond to retail and consumer enquires both verbally and via email
  • Liaison with couriers and freight forwarding organisations
  • Use of in-house system to arrange bookings and arrange delivery notes to the warehouse
  • Keep lines of communication open at all times with Demand Manager on all shipments
  • Using customer systems to process orders and print labels

Essential Skills for a Sales Administrator:

  • Previous shipping experience and knowledge of commodity codes
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several projects at once
  • Ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate in a concise manner
  • Good understanding of MS programmes and experience of SAP B1 would be advantageous
