Post: Kitchen Assistant
Hourly Rate: £11.44 to £12
Shift Times: 8am to 3pm
Contracted Hours: Full time and Part Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring residents receive nutritious and delicious food.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing up and cleaning equipment.
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen tasks, including food storage and inventory management.
- Ensure dietary requirements and preferences of residents are met.
- Work collaboratively with care home staff to create a positive dining experience for all residents.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not essential.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to improve the lives of our residents.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- An understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexibly.
