The Role: As an Interim Assistant Accountant, the chosen candidate will play a vital role in the finance department, supporting the day-to-day functions of the finance team. This is a fast-paced environment that requires someone who is ready to dive in and make a positive impact.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day financial transactions.
- Sales ledger - processing invoices, handling queries, processing payments, supporting credit control.
- Purchase ledger - inbox management, processing invoices, dealing with queries, processing payments
- Balance sheet reconciliation - of sales and purchase ledgers, bank accounts and similar control accounts to support the finance function
- Processing credit card and expenses.
- Supporting month-end processes and posting required journals.
Requirements: The company values personable and enthusiastic individuals, and they are looking for someone who can bring energy and passion to the role. The ideal candidate should have finance-related experience, be proficient in Excel, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and be available immediately for this 12 month Interim role.
