Head of Finance | Public Sector | Remote Working
Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a London based Council, who are looking for a Head of Finance to join their team on an interim basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing robust financial reports and leading the management accounting function
- Supporting capital projects in order to develop financial plans
- Leading on the delivery of the closure of accounts and production of statutory accounts
- Responsibility for the delivery of relevant and timely advice and guidance to Members, the Senior Management Team, Directors, Heads of Service and Budget Holders
- Development and leadership of Finance team
The successful candidate;
- CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with significant post qualification experience and evidence of continuing personal development
- Significant experience of managing relevant teams/areas with demonstrable success
- Proven in depth knowledge of Local Government Finance is essential
