Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Sports Coach to work with children who have special educational requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and adaptive sports environment, fostering a sense of achievement, and helping each child develop confidence and physical skills through sports.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement customized sports programs tailored to the unique needs of the students

Provide individualized coaching and support to enhance motor skills, coordination, and social interaction.

Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to understand each child's specific requirements and ensure a holistic approach to their development.

Utilize adaptive coaching techniques and equipment to make sports accessible to children with diverse abilities.

Monitor and track the progress of each child, providing regular feedback to parents and caregivers.

Organize and facilitate sports activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sports Coach, with a focus on working with children with special needs.

Relevant coaching certifications and qualifications.

Understanding of adaptive coaching techniques and a commitment to inclusivity.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and their families.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards overcoming challenges.

Ability to create and maintain a safe and supportive sports environment.
