Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced External Audit Senior to lead audit engagements and ensure the highest quality of service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients
  • Develop and maintain client relationships
  • Identify and resolve audit issues efficiently
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation

Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UK external audit
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
