An esteemed chemical manufacturer at a notable UK production site is on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join the team and drive significant growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales of speciality fibre and fabrics, contributing to strategy development alongside the Commercial Director, and generating revenue in line with business objectives. The role includes monitoring sales performance, identifying new business opportunities, and systematically building knowledge about key accounts and market trends.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing both domestic and international markets, a background in solution selling with a focus on high-performance fibres and fabrics, and a proven track record in relevant industries. Technical acumen is essential, as is the willingness to travel internationally at least 50% of the time, primarily to Asia, North America, and Europe. Proximity to East Yorkshire/North East Lincolnshire for commuting purposes is also required.
