We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as temporary Kitchen Staff, ranging from Kitchen Porters to Head Chefs. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who enjoy working in a school environment and are looking for a weekday schedule.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to the school's menu.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygienic at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and service.
- For higher-level positions, manage a section of the kitchen or lead the kitchen team, ensuring efficient service and food quality.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- For senior roles, proven experience in managing a kitchen section or leading a team.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to take on various tasks within the kitchen.
