Day to Day of the role:
- Coordinate logistics to manage the flow of materials, collaborating with internal teams, drivers, and external partners.
- Design and implement optimised transport routes for timely deliveries and collections, balancing cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage transport costs, seeking opportunities for savings without compromising service quality.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including driver hours, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with haulage or distribution companies is a plus.
- Experience with route planning software and fleet management systems is advantageous.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
Salary, hours & Benefits:
- Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
