Meraki Talent are currently working with a with a well known wealth management company based in the West of England.
There is an Excellent opportunity for an experienced senior compliance manager to join their team
The role holder will support the Head of Compliance maintain a sound and robust compliance framework appropriate to the Group.
Key Responsibilities include.
- Provide guidance to the business on compliance matters
- Develop and implement compliance training programs
- Collaborate with internal stake holders
- Assisting in the identification and assessment of emerging risk including those arising from changes to regulatory obligations
- Create and comment on compliance MI
- Assisting in the analysis and production of Compliance Governance reporting
- Management of any Compliance support staff
- Support the ongoing regulatory and change programs by acting as the FCA compliance expert
The ideal candidate will be.
- Able to read and interpret the FCA handbook.
- Able to draft Compliance Oversight reports and other management reports to support the Compliance Oversight Officer
- Have 5 years' experience in financial services in a 2nd line back office compliance role
- Great knowledge of Compliance issues and regulatory requirements.
- Relevant business qualification e.g. Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager
- Able to maintain the FCA reg data and FCA Connect requirements for the firms reporting
- Great MS office software skills.
- Very organised and good at prioritising tasks
- Self-motivated
