Marketing Manager

The Opportunity

We are looking for a creative B2B Marketing Manager to elevate the brand position of a small but ambitious business located in the heart of Nottingham. You will be developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, increasing brand visibility and market penetration across three key divisions, so you will have plenty of variety in your work across multiple channels.

You will be planning and implementing lead generation, including campaigns to support and achieve sales success. You will therefore work closely with the BDM to turn new ideas into the practical application of new products. Key areas of focus will be managing the Company's website including video on-line content and managing social media activity and on-line presence and content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, managing and optimising digital campaigns across various channels, including SEO, email, social-media, events and display advertising
  • Conducting market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and consumer preferences
  • The ability to balance and achieve multiple deadlines and keep several plates spinning at the same time
  • A natural enthusiasm for new stuff – products, initiatives, strategy, with the ability to practically apply new ideas
  • A good awareness of how to get the best from social media platforms and activity

This opportunity would suit an experienced B2B Marketing Manager or perhaps an ambitious Senior Marketing Executive looking for progression. B2B or manufacturing industry knowledge/experience would be a big advantage, but you can easily adapt to their new products with the training provided.

Brand awareness will be crucial and even though you have the support of a Designer and Web Designer, any hands-on creative Adobe skills would be useful with a desire to be creative in the production of product explainer videos for Social Media etc.
