Training Support Specialist

Our client is a leading global systems provider of advanced integrated technology in parking management systems. They develop, manufacture, distribute and service equipment and have a tradition of innovation and invention.

They now require a Training Support Specialist to create & tailor training plans / packages to meet customers' requirements.

THE ROLE

  • You will responsible for training customers and colleagues on all aspects of their electro-mechanical / IT cloud-based systems, including system reports.
  • Plan and create relevant training material, videos, and instruction documents to guide customers on how to operate systems.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather and validate training content and materials.
  • Conduct training needs ( gap analysis, ) assessment to identify skills and develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Assist in the implementation and adaptation of new technologies by providing training and support to end users.
  • Maintain an up-to-date training calendar.
  • Carry out remote training.
  • Coordinate training plans with customers, understand their needs and manage customer expectations and gain feedback.
  • Provide required training and anticipate future needs based on client feedback.
  • Coordinate the booking process for all training.
  • Have a flexible attitude to work away, with occasional overnight stays of 1-2 nights across the UK.
  • Liaise with internal and external customers at all levels, contribute to a service minded and client-oriented approach focused upon the end-user's satisfaction.

THE INDIVIDUAL

  • You will have a background in designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes ideally, but not essentially for technology organisations.
  • Preferably with training or teaching qualifications / courses.
  • You be passionate about learning & development, able to learn quickly, with the ability to work in the ever-changing context of a growing organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and presentations.
  • Must have a driving licence and be willing to travel to different sites.
  • Be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills; able to work effectively independently and as part of a team collaborating well with colleagues.
  • Full product training will be offered.

A basic salary of c. £40,000 p.a. + company car + expenses + 25 days holidays + mobile & laptop + discounts + pension - company pays 7% providing employee contributes 2% + life assurance available after probation period.
